In May last year I was contacted by the most patient woman in the world to see if I’d like to review the Premier Family Charger.
Having 84 miles of walking ahead of me across the width of the UK along Hadrian’s Wall…

..I had a feeling myself and my fellow walkers might be battling over plug sockets each night as we all attempted to charge our mobile phones to keep in touch with the outside world.
The walk was amazing…
But alas the phone charger was too heavy so it didn’t venture all the way to the North of England with me. It has however been pretty useful.
The idea is simple.
Rather than using up a plug socket for every person in the household, loosing your charger and getting your wires snagged on stuff, this multiple phone charger means you can charge 3 devices at the same time while only using one socket.
You just slot the phone into the adjustable cradle, plug your charger in behind each phone, shove the wire into the cable tidy section at the back and then plug your Family Charger into the wall.
It’s one of those things that does exactly what it says on the box – unless you’re a bit mad and think that a family charger means you should be able to plug yourself and your loved ones into the mains for an hour or so and come away feeling full of energy and probably with a very tight perm.
At £9.99 I reckon this is a must have for any office or busy family. Sorry it took me so long to do the review, but like the walk, I got there in the end.

I like the idea of that other family charger you’re talking about. I’d love to be able to plug myself in, with the kids, instead of having to bother with cooking dinner and feeding them.

Me too. I also like the idea of sleeping in tupperware to prevent aging.

Hi there, Jody here, living in California. The walk sounds amazing and so does the charger. When Harley (13) was born we walked with him on our backs from the source of the Thames (in a well in Cirencester) right through to where it lets out in London. Really cool various scenery…

Hi Jody. Wow, that must have been an amazing walk, and you were so brave to have done it with a baby. Or mad… ;D

This sounds great, just what I need for my bedside table where I charge a phone, an ipod touch, a PDA, my laptop and something else that I am not sure what it actually is…
