We haven’t disappeared, honest, it’s just been a mad busy week so far. E is almost through her SATs, we have had Drama Club, play rehearsal, Rainbows, Guides, visits from a Great Uncle and a trip to a friend’s house all in the space of two days, plus I’ve been hormonally challenged and in the land of weird dreams.
In fact, the land of reeeeeeally weird dreams.
There are posts planned but not yet written, and tonight I have promised E and M we will do nothing but chill, so just wanted to say hello and wish all your Year 2 and Year 6 monkeys a good SATs week. I don’t care what E gets as long as she doesn’t stress.
So far so good.

We’re having one of those weeks too. I can see myself chilling with a glass of wine tonight despite supposedly being alcohol free during the weeks. ha ha

Wine is good, and this is one of those weeks that isn’t like a real week. It’s more of a weird freaky limbo thing.

Not sure my daughter knows the meaning of the word stress. She monitored her progress through SATS by the amount of ice creams she had eaten. School gave one after each session. It was a very profitable week as far as she was concerned.

That sounds a fab way to get through SATs. E has been fine as we’ve gone for the No Pressure method, but school have piled it on a few times. I’m so glad they’re over.

It was good. Not quite as chilled as I hoped as I ended up looking after my friends kids till almost 9pm. Thank Bob for Despicable Me.
