From the moment Miss M was born my girls have loved each other

One would always be just a step behind the other.

Miss E playing Mum to Miss M’s rose-cheeked babyness.

Now M is bigger she carries her sister sometimes too.  At other times she prods, teases and hurls soft toys at her, and Miss E tuts, rolls her eyes, gives her a gentle shove or batters her about the head with a big stick.

But mostly it’s love.

I love seeing how close they are.  I love that Miss M can climb on her big sister’s knee without having to ask, and that Miss E wraps her arms around her and leans her head on M’s shoulder as they sit hypnotized by Horrible Histories or The Sarah Jane Adventures.

I love that they love each other.  Seeing them together gives me so many heart melting moments I’m pretty sure my heart must be shrink-wrapped, otherwise it would have leaked away by now and I’d be all undead and vampish or something…

PPS  I am not really a vampire and am also 2 stone heavier than this pic at the mo due to evil hormones and cake.  I still have a big cheesy grin though so hopefully you’ll still spot me if you want to say hello.
