My new man

Blog

I have a friend.

He’s broad and dark and could be considered handsome.

I don’t mind him seeing me with bed head hair, no make up and wearing nothing more than a smile.

My parents like him, my kids like him, even my ex-husband likes him!

Exciting right?

Except there’s a catch.

He’s not actually a person, but a much loved cereal biscuit.

Tsk.

On the plus side though, he is taking Granny and Grandad, Misses E and M and myself out for a ‘busy day’ tomorrow so it’s not all bad.

We’ll let you know how we all get on and what we get up to, but I can tell you that it will start with a wholesome breakfast and an early train to London.

So excited.

PS  You’re now wondering how I know weetabix is male aren’t you?
A girl can just tell these things, and he’s hard on the outside but goes all mushy as soon as he’s had a drink.  :D

OMG, I have the same boyfriend! I prefer him in the colder weather though when he keeps me warm, but my god he’s rubbish at DIY.

He bears a striking resemblance to legendary sex on a stick, Wallace. Do you have a Cornflake Gromit?

Funnily enough, I’ve just rediscovered Weetabix. It’s so low-sugar it’s painful.

Haha, I had a good laugh reading this story. I am not friends with your friend yet but as you like him so much, I may try and see how good of a friend he is. I guess we might have a few acquaintances in common.
