Coming home

Blog

We haven’t disappeared, honest.

Nor have we been eaten by giant hamsters or small but greedy wilderbeasts.

We’ve managed to avoid being kidnapped by Cliff Richards, Bernie Clifton or either of the Krankies, and none of us have been laid low by the pox or a really bad verucca.

We’ve actually been away in sunny France exploring the Somme and having a really wicked time with Misses E and M and my Mum and Dad.

At this moment I’m sat between my 2 monkeys as we drive up the M20 and towards home.

I’ve not been able to post while away due to my phone being evil and slightly pants, but it’s been good to have a break from t’interweb and all things technology based.

We have swum, explored, drunk far too much wine and beer and had a wonderful time.

There are posts to come about the Somme, the miracle that is the seaband, a Canvas Holidays review and a couple of comedy moments from Miss M. (I know, I can feel your excitement), but for now I’m going to sit back and watch the world go by. It will be another 4 or so hours until we get home.

Wish I had some ruby slippers.

Car journeys home are always the toughest things. Glad you had a good time with both the Misses. Can’t wait to hear all about it.
