To celebrate the launch of Tesco Mobile’s new Capped Tariffs they’ve given me a state of the art LG Optimus 3D phone to give away. The new scheme allows you to keep track of how much you spend on your mobile phone, or how much your kids are spending. You might have seen the ad…
If like me you have a youngster starting out with their first phone then Tesco’s Capped Tariffs are definitely worth considering.
The main features of the Tesco Mobile Capped Tariffs are:
• Being able to fix your tariff so you can only use your inclusive minutes, texts and data.
• Ensuring your monthly bill is never more than the cost of your tariff.
• The ability to top-up your account with a Pay as you go top-up, if you run out during the month
• Tesco Mobile are also the only network to offer this scheme across all handsets, and all price plans.
How to enter:
All you have to do is leave a comment telling me what fabulous item you would buy with the money you could save by using a capped tariff phone.
I’m planning on buying this or visiting Garden Games to buy some more bits for our garden. (We just had a new 8ft trampoline surround from them and it’s fab.)
And, for an extra entry please tweet :
Win an LG Optimus 3D Phone with Tesco and @jobeaufoix. Just visit http://www.jobeaufoix.com/2011/10/31/win-an-lg-optimus-3d-phone/
Competition closes on Sunday 6th November 2011.
PS. Garden Games let me pay half price for our trampoline surround in exchange for that link. They’re a small but growing company and their stuff is great quality. Thanks Ben).
And the winner is Rebecca English. Congrats Rebecca. Hope its fabulous. :D

Hey, if you bought that castle we’d practically be neighbours!
I would buy a camel, because I think they get a bad press and they’re not as grumpy as people say.

Mya a camel would be very cool, and much better than llamas in a ‘not spitting vomit’ kind of way.

As I’ve just dropped my old phone off a train bridge and it has finally had its life support machine switched off, I would have to say I’d buy a new phone. But wait, if I win one I can think of something else to spend all my hard saved cash on because I wouldn’t need to buy another one.
So, I’d buy an automatic tidying machine. Because I REALLY REALLY need one! It’s the only way I’ll ever approach domesticity. x

Omg I need one of those too. And poor phone, I hope you gave it a good send off. x

my OH phone is dying. He would love to fix the tariff as it would give him an excuse to make less calls (he’s not massively sociable) he’d spend the money he saves on saxophone reeds, beer and lottery tickets (I benefit from no. 3 only but I’m hopeful).
October 31st, 2011 at 5:14 pm
But he could play you a lovely tune on the sax couldn’t he? Or is he nt at the lovely stage yet?

I’d buy a shoe shop and possibly also a small village.
October 31st, 2011 at 5:13 pm
Ohhh a shoe shop would be fab. Now which village would you buy young lady? Clipstone?? ;D
October 31st, 2011 at 3:47 pm
I’d buy a Hadrian’s Walk Buff. I hear all the cool kids are wearing them these days.
October 31st, 2011 at 5:13 pm
I still wear mine. Are you still selling them? Does that mean we have to do it again?

That looks like a great phone.
The Castle looks great but as my phone bills are not that big I would have to settle for one of those Lego star wars millennium falcons. I would say it was for my little boy but I just have a massive urge to build it!!

Hee hee, they should have a lego Grand Designs. Maybe you could put the Millenium Falcon on your Christmas list??
November 2nd, 2011 at 9:23 am
I would take me and maddad to the pictures and use the money to book a babysitter. We have not been out since mum died on our own
November 2nd, 2011 at 9:26 am
I am ready to scream at my phone so I couldn’t have spotted this at a better time!
I would buy a bouncy castle to put in my (clearly vast) living room. That way the girl could crawl wherever she wanted and I wouldn’t have to worry about her getting hurt!
But Lego Grand Designs sounds amazing! I’d totally watch that. And you could join in at home!
November 2nd, 2011 at 10:30 am
Hmmmmm let me think!!
What would I buy…
Anything from a certain clothes shop methinks
November 2nd, 2011 at 12:23 pm
Lovely phone..
What would I buy, I hear you say…
Something for which I would not have to pay
But definately something for me
To do with tea
Maybe an automatic filling tea pot!
November 2nd, 2011 at 2:02 pm
I wish I could find something to buy for myself. I went to the shops today and bought new gloves, some stocking fillers and Pudsey ears, all for the boys. A trampoline sounds fun though

I would buy a singing reindeer – http://bit.ly/singingdeer. It’s what every modern home needs!
Click the listen button for a treat. “You can touch the fur ladies! I’m sooo soft”. Brilliant!
November 4th, 2011 at 7:25 am
I would buy myself some new trainers because mine are literally falling apart. Very sad.
