Blog

I have lost this post 4 times now.
My parents’ laptop is a big pile of raggedly old pants.
so
Mum = ill = gallstones = ouch
Dad = out so me = Grannysitting

but tonight me = out for my birthday with Lu and Nic (Dez, Nats and Ju would perfect the line up) at Jamie Oliver’s Italian in Notts

Oh and me = LIBRARY ASSISTANT – I got a job.  Yay.

And NHS = fabulous

It is so so annoying when you can write more in the comment box than you can in your post. I don’t know if it’s my parents’ laptop or if wordpress has been invaded my evil post-gobbling monkeys.

My head is hurty, I am more than a little bit grumpified by the fact my real post has been swallowed 4 times, and I have a cold, so I am giving up till I get home.

You get the gist from the above though right??

My mum’s been ill, it’s gallstones with the added complication of one nesting in her bile duct. She’s home now but they’ll be operating on her soon. It’s been very scary as my Gran and Great Grandad both died of bowel cancer around my mum’s age so our thoughts immediately went in that direction.

Compared to what it could have been gallstones are very very welcome. (NB My Mum might disagree)

And I went for my first job interview since falling ill with pmdd 6 years ago and I GOT IT, so I will soon be a blogging library assistant.

    Yay.

    And that is all.

Basically, it’s been a hell of a week!!

Whoop on the job and actually I think yah on the gallstones too. I had the same as your mum and had one stuck. I had to have an emergency op when 20 weeks preg with Maxi, but was home and at work 2 days later. I am sure she will sail though the op, especially after coping with the pain of gallstomes

Omg Jen how unfair that you had to go through that too. You are owed some good stuff young lady. I’m glad they sorted it though and the recovery sounds pretty good so I’ll pass that on to my Mum. xx

All posts need to be this brief and funny. Gallstones not funny of course and wishing your Mama a quick recovery!
