When Asda asked if I’d like some flowers to review for Mother’s Day I had to say yes. I’m a sucker for a lovely bunch, and as I’m young (cough) free and single at the moment it’s rare that I get any unless I buy them for myself.
I was intrigued to see what Asda has to offer as while supermarkets tend to have some lovely blooms on display, you can generally tell that they are the supermarket variety rather than those coming from a florist. I don’t know why, they just seem to look more mass produced. I was really pleasantly surprised though.
The site looks very professional and the choices are really gorgeous. It didn’t take us long to choose…
Delivery was fast and the flowers were packaged really carefully.
We decided to gift the flowers to Granny as most of my vases are packed for our move in 3 weeks time. Don’t they look blooming lovely on her hearth?
We’ve always had good service from Asda, and Asda Flowers has been equally fabulous. Delivery is free on general orders, but if you need delivery in a hurry the price is fantastic at just £2.99!!
I’ll definitely use them again, in fact I have my eye on this little number for my new house.
What do you think?
Thank you Asda. My Mum is very happy with her pretty pink bouquet. They’ve been the perfect start to her Mother’s Day treats.
Disclosure: Asda sent us a bouquet of our choice from their lovely Mother’s Day range to review.
The thoughts and opinions are all my own.
P.S. Just wanted to give you a quick heads up to a floral based competition.
If you’re a Mum-to-be, or you know a Mum-to-be, then you might be interested in this lovely idea from the flower council. They say
“We’re pioneering a brand new day this year on 10th March focussing on all those super special ‘almost’ mothers, #AlmostMothersDay, and offering
bouquets to be won over on http://www.funnyhowflowersdothat.co.uk/”
I’m heading over as my sis has a bouncing babe due in May.
And for your amusement, here is a quick pic of the mahoosive bouquet they sent me today. Believe it or not there is a 12-year-old under there.
Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mums, Mums-to-be and lovely friends who are like a mum.
You all rock.
Hope Asda pays you a visit.
